if i use pocket diapers as covers to prefolds, how many…..?
pocket diapers should i buy? i want to use prefolds with my baby and hear that pocket diapers are a better cover than actual diaper covers.because it gives double the support and really prevents leakage. so my question is, im going to buy about 24-36 chinese prefolds, how many pocket diapers should i buy in place of diaper covers?
Normally you need 2-6 covers. However, as pocket diapers have a lining (usually fleece or microsuede) if that gets wet, you will need to air it out longer than just through one diaper change, and often I think you will just need to wash it before using again.
Honestly, I have been cloth diapering for 20 months, I am part of tons of groups and have done too much research and have never come across anyone who regularly uses pocket diapers as a cover for pre-folds (only in a pinch).
There are some excellent covers out there. Leg gussets are key to preventing leaks, especially in the early months. I would recommend Thirsties (PUL) and Polar Bummis (fleece). However, the BEST covers in my opinion are wool. Not sure if you have considered them, but they are so much better given they breathe, regulate temperature and do not have to be washed as often. They do have to be hand washed and lanolized (to keep them waterproof), but this is not as much work as it sounds. We started out using Sckoon and Sugar Peas covers. But now we make our own either knit or from recycled sweaters.

Definitely buy a few pocket diapers, and you can try them as covers. But you will likely just end up using them as they are intended to be used. We love our pocket diapers!

Very good. If your phone is still locked, unlock it by clicking OK. Then you click OK again to get a menu 1-6. Go to Option 6 and I must say the keyguard settings. Then u click it and go to unlock the options and click unlock two stages. HOPE IT helped!
